About the Role:

As a Data Engineer on the Data Governance team, you will build and support the pipelines, metadata processes, and automation needed to ensure our data is accurate, discoverable, and trustworthy. You will partner with domain teams to implement data quality checks, support ELT workflows, and strengthen governance practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain batch / ELT data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Build data transformations in Big Query aligned to governance standards and information models.
• Implement data quality checks and validation rules across critical datasets.
• Automate profiling, metadata extraction, and schema monitoring workflows.
• Contribute to version-controlled repositories (Git) and follow CI/CD practices.
