The Engine Technician I performs incoming inspection, disassembly, and cleaning of PT6A turbine engines and components, ensuring high-quality standards and reliable performance throughout the maintenance process.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform receiving inspections on incoming PT6A engines and components to verify condition, documentation, and compliance with established standards.
+ Disassemble turbine engines in accordance with approved procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
+ Carry out detailed teardown of engines and subassemblies to support repair, overhaul, and inspection activities.
+ Clean turbine engine parts using approved methods and equipment to prepare components for inspection, repair, or reassembly.
+ Inspect engine parts for wear, damage, or nonconformance and document findings in line with company and regulatory requirements.
