For experienced Engine Reconditioners and machinists interested in reconditioning Cummings Caterpillar and Komatsu Diesel Engines while working in one of the largest most modern automotive machine shops in Queensland

• Requires: Proven experience in machining and engine reconditioning.
• Salary guide: $43.00 - $47.00 per hour.

Your normal day will involve heavy diesel engine reconditioning OEM work, especially for Cummins and Caterpillar and Komatsu. This includes:

• Dismantling and inspecting engines for wear and damage.
• Operating machinery to re-grind camshafts and crankshafts.
• Repairing and reconditioning cylinder heads and blocks.
• Utilizing precision instruments to verify component accuracy.
• Diagnosing engine failures and conducting pressure tests.
• Collaborating with a skilled team to ensure quality outcomes.
