Become an integral part of Nechako Lumber as an Energy System Operator in Vanderhoof, BC. Drive efficiency and safety in the operation of the Heat Plant and ORC.
Nechako Lumber, part of Sinclar Group Forest Products Ltd., is seeking skilled Energy System Operators to oversee thermal oil and ORC operations. Your expertise will ensure the safe, reliable functioning of our energy systems. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and logging operational data to support a sustainable manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the Thermal Oil and ORC Plant effectively
• Conduct walk-through inspections and maintain logs
• Perform routine maintenance and track plant issues
• Collaborate with the Chief Engineer on system reviews
• Attend safety meetings as needed
Requirements:
• 4th class steam ticket required
• Previous industry experience is a plus
