Summary

  • A care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient or group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care for these patients thorough therapeutic use of self, the patient care/problem solving or nursing process; through the environment/instrumentation; and through other health care team members.

  • Education Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience Required: 6 months Endoscopy experience
  • Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical/problem solving skills Able to work in an organized manner
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days Preferred: Certified through the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA)
