Employment Specialist

Overview

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to expand the Workways IPS team across Devon Partnership NHS trust. Workways are recruiting Employment Specialists to work in Torbay. The Workways admin base is in Exminster, near Exeter, but day‑to‑day work will be based within Mental Health teams in the area.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Workways team in line with IPS best practice, providing specialised vocational assessment of individuals' work needs.
• Provide assistance to Workways clients to find and receive support while in paid employment using the evidence‑based IPS approach.
• Manage a caseload of no more than 20 people (per full‑time equivalent) who are experiencing mental health problems and wish to enter or remain in employment.
• Engage proactively with individuals on your caseload, helping them achieve their own employment goals.
