The purpose of this role is to provide expert employment relations (ER) support to the business and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) by ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant management of employee relations matters. The Employment Relations Specialist is responsible for advising on and managing disciplinary processes, resolving disputes, and representing or supporting the organisation in statutory forums such as the CCMA and Labour Court. The role also focuses on strengthening internal ER capability by coaching line managers, enhancing policies and practices, and reducing reliance on external legal service providers through the development of strong internal expertise.
