About the Opportunity



Reporting to a Manager in the Emergency Preparedness program and working within Nova Scotia Health teams, the Emergency Preparedness Consultant is responsible for coordinating activities within the designated portfolio related to emergency planning and response. The Consultant will also be responsible for coordinating activities related to education & training, emergency exercising, emergency planning, response (including the support of the Incident Management System) and continuity planning. The Consultant works under the authority of the manager and is responsible for participating in the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of all components of a comprehensive and provincially integrated emergency preparedness program.
