We are committed to delivering excellent regional emergency medicine care for the people of the Bay of Plenty.The Whakatāne Hospital Emergency Department provides 24/7 emergency and acute care to the people of the Eastern Bay of Plenty. This region of the Bay of Plenty has a predominantly Māori population and as such is an opportunity to experience living and working in a community with strong cultural bonds to the local Iwi.
