Overview

North Island Hospital Comox Valley is seeking part‑time or full‑time Emergency Medicine Physicians.

We welcome either CCFP‑EM or FRCPC emergency certification.

North Island Hospital is a 24‑hour Emergency Department with 153 inpatient beds. We provide comprehensive care for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, and see over 31,000 visits annually.

The ED physicians care for trauma patients, serve as the local trauma team, and are the Rapid Response Team for all cardiac arrests and code calls for admitted inpatients.

Our hospital has an academic affiliation with the University of British Columbia postgraduate programs and hosts a Family Practice Residency Program, offering teaching opportunities.
