Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Embedded Software Development Engineer for our client based out of Grimes, IA.

This assignment is anticipated to be a 12 month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.

This will also have a first shift Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support embedded software for electronic products
  • Record, track, and drive software defects to resolution
  • Investigate and resolve software issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure quality embedded software and electrical components for on‑highway vehicle systems
  • Develop model‑based embedded software using MATLAB/Simulink
  • Interface with cross‑functional stakeholders to define and meet software requirements
