Join Elk Valley Resources as a Water Technician, where you'll focus on compliance and water treatment operations within a leading BC coal producer environment. This position is critical for safety and environmental performance.
In this role, you will actively participate in health and safety initiatives while monitoring water treatment facilities. You will support sample collection, conduct various analytical tests, and make process adjustments based on computer data. Operational duties include conducting start-ups, shutdowns, and equipment isolation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in and promote health and safety programs
• Monitor water treatment compliance with BC legislation
• Support third-party contractors with sampling tasks
