Elk Valley Resources is seeking an Industrial Safety Medic to uphold health and safety standards at their coal mines. This casual job involves varied shifts while emphasizing site security and safety protocols.
Reporting to the Coordinator, Safety & Loss Control, you will play a critical role in the health and safety framework. Your tasks will include conducting risk assessments, supporting training initiatives, and performing periodic safety inspections. You will also assist in incident investigations and manage first aid responses to ensure a secure working environment across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce health and safety policies on-site
• Participate in risk management and gap analyses
• Facilitate safety training and new employee orientation
• Conduct health and safety audits and inspections
