There is a position available for a Long‑term Substitute School Counselor at Eagle Lake Elementary and Jefferson Elementary Schools beginning August 31 and ending October 30, 2026.

Summary of Duties

Scanning duties may be as follows:

• Listening to students' concerns about academic, emotional, or social concerns
• Leading monthly SEL classroom lessons
• Helping students process problems and plan goals and actions related to student support
• Mediate conflict between students and teachers
• Improve parent/teacher relationships
• Refer students to psychologists and other mental health resources
• Work on academic boards to improve learning conditions
