Ralya Elementary School

SUMMARY: The Ralya Elementary Principal is responsible for overseeing all elementary school operations for grades 2-5, including instructional programs, curriculum implementation, staff supervision, student services, and daily school activities. The Principal serves as both the instructional and operational leader of the school, ensuring academic excellence and maintaining a safe, productive learning environment for all students.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides instructional leadership for elementary curriculum, assessment, and school improvement initiatives, including MTSS, PBIS, early literacy and numeracy development, and requirements of the Michigan Department of Education; conducts regular classroom observations and serves as a leader of learning to teachers.
