Job Description

As a member of the Electronics R&D Team, the Electronics Test Engineer is responsible for designing automated test equipment that is used to validate, configure, program and test electronic circuits (PCBAs) and electronic systems. The designed test equipment can be used for internal R&D purposes but also for volume production at manufacturing sites. The engineer will be involved in hardware and software development related to the test equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project management to evaluate costs and timeline of development.

  • Define test requirements.

  • Participate in DFT (Design-for-Test) reviews and internal standards.

  • Design electronic circuits and electronics systems (schematic).

  • PCB design (PCB Layout) for test equipment.

  • Cable harness design.

  • Assembly of electronic test equipment, including soldering on PCBA.
