Electronics Technician Intern

Overview We are seeking a full-time Electronics Technician Intern at Garmin’s U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for the basic application of electronic theory, electrical testing procedures and related knowledge to lay-out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental and electronic equipment. Essential Functions Help trace circuits of defective units, using knowledge of electronic theory and electronic test equipment to locate to the component level Discuss layout/assembly problems with Electronics Technicians and draw sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units Assemble experimental circuitry (breadboard) or complete prototype model according to engineering instructions, technical manuals and knowledge of electronic systems and components and their functions Analyze/recommend basic changes in circuitry or installation specifications to improve assembly, maintenance, test method or ...
