Principle Mechanical Design Engineer – Electronics

We are looking for a Principle Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Shelby team!

As a Principal Design Engineer, you will design and analyze complex electronic modules and mechanical components with our Electrical Engineering team.  Our customers are military and commercial aerospace OEM’s looking for motor controllers and power electronics to support our electromechanical actuation solutions for flight controls, door-drive systems and other needs. You will conduct feasibility studies and support testing on new and modified designs. You will directly support personnel in the preparation of detailed design models, drawings and testing equipment.  You will mentor and support less experienced engineers and share best practices with them.
