Summary This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted position for a ELECTRONICS MECHANIC INSPECTOR, Position Description Number PDD1207000, and is part of the SC UTES, South Carolina Army National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility. The purpose of the position is to inspect the repair of electronics equipment to ensure that physical and operating characteristics are within acceptable standards and specifications. Work involved in fabricating, overhauling, modifying, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining ground, airborne, and marine electronic equipment, such as: radio; radar; sonar; cryptographic; satellite; microwave; micro computers and peripherals; laser; infrared; industrial x-ray; marine, aeronautical, and space navigation aid; TV receiver; surveillance; and similar devices.
