Job Title: Electronics Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking an In-Process Electronics Inspector to support our 2nd shift production by performing thorough inspections of electronic assemblies. This role is crucial in ensuring that printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) meet IPC, customer, and internal quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You will work closely with Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), and Electronics Technicians to prevent defects from advancing downstream.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process inspection of PCB and PCBA assemblies during SMT and hand-assembly operations.
  • Inspect solder joints, component placement, polarity, workmanship, and materials per work instructions and IPC-A-610 criteria.
  • Use visual inspection tools including microscopes and magnification systems.
  • Identify, document, and properly disposition non-conforming products.
