Electronic Technician I Contract with option to hire (they want a person that will become a full time direct employee)
SUMMARY:The position requires operation of assorted electronic test equipment and a basic understanding of flow meter calibration to enable the person to adjust, scale, and program complex electronic systems to specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.-Calibrate and program microprocessor controlled electronic equipment using personal computers.-Program flow computers using front panel keyboard entry of downloaded software.-Assemble electronic enclosures and system test electronics mated or paired with flow meters.-Make modifications to existing boards from engineering drawings or diagrams with guidance from an Electronics Technician II or Engineering.-Test and troubleshoot analog and digital circuits to component level.-Install and solder components onto circuit boards.-Mix and use potting compound...
