Job Description

About the Role

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electromechanic performs maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and automated components to meet health and safety standards and minimize production downtime. The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair or replace hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical plans.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment.
  • Use machining tools to manufacture parts required for repair, maintenance, or assembly.
  • Participate in the installation or improvement of production equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed within a reasonable timeframe to limit production stoppages.
