Responsibilities

• Ensures appropriate start-up of the plant’s systems and equipment.
• Organize a preventive maintenance program for the plant’s equipment.
• Support the manufacturing and packaging team during equipment start-up.
• Repair and maintain the various production, packaging, laboratory equipment, as well as support systems and building-related equipment.
• Identify electrical, mechanical and control problems on the equipment.
• Execute various preventive maintenance tasks.
• Establish mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic diagnostics upon failure of manufacturing and building equipment; make the necessary repairs and identify the impact of the breakage on operational GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
