Job Description
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional crew, ensuring all electrical and electronic systems onboard are safe, reliable, and well maintained.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Operate, maintain, and repair all electrical and electronic equipment, including automation and control systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot power generation and distribution systems
- Carry out preventive maintenance on navigation, communication, and cargo control systems
- Support engine and deck departments with electrical and electronic issues
- Ensure compliance with safety, class, and company standards
- Keep maintenance records and update relevant documentation
- **Requirements**:
- Valid ETO license and STCW certificates as required for tankers
- Previous experience as ETO on oil/chemical tankers
