Job Description
Join OSM Thome as an Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on LPG semi-pressurized tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional crew, keeping all electrical and electronic systems safe, reliable, and ready for operation.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all electrical and electronic equipment onboard
- Look after power generation, distribution, and emergency power systems
- Maintain and test automation, control, and monitoring systems for cargo and machinery
- Ensure proper functioning of navigation and communication equipment
- Follow safety procedures and support safe cargo and tanker operations
- Keep records of maintenance, inspections, and spare parts
- **Requirements**:
- Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates
- Experience as ETO on tankers, preferably LPG or gas carriers
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic, and automation systems
