Purpose of the Job

To safely install, maintain and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.

Minimum Qualifications And Requirements Grade 12/STD 10 (with Mathematics and Physical Science) / NQF Level 4 is essential. A recognised relevant Trade qualification (Section 13 or 26 D) is essential.

OR

Proof of recognised completed apprenticeship (completed by means of effluxion of time).

AND

NTC 2 (relevant four subjects) essential. Valid code 8 drivers' licence (essential and be able to attend to callouts). Minimum of 3 years working experience as an Electrician is essential, of which 2 years is essential on the following: MV (33 k V & 6.6 k V) cable installation, termination, fault finding & repairs Construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of MV electrical networks including switchgear Substation maintenance MV testing equipment ...
