Join Shermco Canada as a Field Engineer focused on hands-on electrical testing. Travel across Manitoba performing complex testing and troubleshooting on a variety of power systems.
We are looking for experienced Field Engineers/Technicians with a background in electrical testing. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience and be proficient in testing, inspection, and troubleshooting electrical systems. This is a dynamic role that offers exposure to industrial and utility-scale projects while working within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct testing and maintenance on voltage systems up to 600 kV
• Inspect and test transformers, protective relays, and switchgear
• Document and analyze test data accurately and efficiently
• Support commissioning of electrical systems and respond to urgent customer calls
