Electrical Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local codes and safety standards.
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and wiring to identify issues.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using tools and testing equipment to locate the cause of a breakdown.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering staff to resolve electrical issues and support facility operations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and use of personal protective equipment.
