Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Midlands
Rate: £25 - £30 per hour - OUTSIDE IR35
Shifts: Days or Nights 4 on 4 off
About the Role
We’re looking for electrically qualified technicians to support dynamic testing, fault identification, and system performance validation of rolling stock.
As the electrical technician you will be responsible for testing phases, working alongside engineering, testing, and commissioning teams to ensure the fleet is reliable, compliant, and ready for full passenger operation.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor system performance in real time

Perform fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical, mechanical, and software-integrated systems

Liaise with engineering, testing, and depot teams to log, report, and escalate issues during dynamic testing and early service rollout

Conduct basic corrective actions and support deeper root-cause investigations
