Electrical Systems Engineer

Overview

GE Vernova is seeking an exceptional Electrical Systems Engineer to join our Electrification team based in Whetstone, UK. The role supports the MPTF (Marine Power Test Facility) and involves designing, testing, and validating high-power electrical systems for naval and energy applications. The candidate will work with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to drive engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Customers, Suppliers, third-party stakeholders and multi-disciplinary colleagues, to drive engineering excellence and deep collaboration.
• Support or perform Power System studies and analysis using simulation software, such as MATLAB, DigSilent, eTAP, PSCAD, or PSSE.
• Generate main and balance of plant equipment specifications, functional and test documents, for LV or HV Switchboards, Generators, Cables, power electronic Converters, Transformers, Motors, auxiliaries, etc. for AC and DC system arc...
