Electrical Systems Designer/Controls Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking a hands‑on Electrical Systems Designer to lead the design, development, and support of electrical and control systems used in truck and trailer equipment. This role spans the full product lifecycle, from concept and schematic design through production support and field troubleshooting. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership of projects, working closely with technicians and customers, and developing practical, manufacturable electrical solutions for real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design & Documentation

• Design 12 VDC vehicle electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and control modules.
• Produce schematics, harness drawings, and panel layouts using CAD tools.
• Create Bills of Materials, assembly instructions, and test procedures.
• Standardize designs to improve manufacturability and reduce lead time.
