Job Description
**Overview**
Shimmick, via our subsidiary Axia Electric, is seeking a highly talented **Electrical Safety Manager** based in **Riverside, CA** to support heavy civil electrical construction projects including underground/overhead utilities, substations, trenching & excavation, energized work controls, and large-scale infrastructure construction. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Cal/OSHA, OSHA, and NFPA 70E, while building a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and incident prevention. This position is expected to be visible in the field daily, actively coaching crews, verifying safe work practices, and partnering with supervision to eliminate hazards before they become incidents.
