Our client, a successful provider of metal solutions, is looking for an experienced, professional Electrical Engineer for their Glasgow site. With a wide range of applications, our client can offer total solutions to its customers' needs, as well as unrivaled service and technical backup.

Role

Responsible to the Business Manager, this role requires applicants to be involved in both reactive and proactive service and repair of the client's onsite plant. The position has a strong electrical bias but would suit multi‑skilled engineers with strong electrical experience. One of the main problem areas is the motors, drives and controls of the systems; applicants with experience in a heavy engineering industry would be ideal. The facility operates 24 hours a day, so the role will include on‑call rota time shared within the department.
