Job Description

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career mechanical or electrical cost consultant to develop expertise in estimating and cost management. You will contribute to mechanical and electrical cost estimates across multiple sectors, with a strong focus on federal, defense, and healthcare projects, while being coached and supported within a national centre of excellence for M&E cost consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with and supervise other estimators working on specific assignments to ensure consistent and accurate cost outputs.
  • Actively participate in working sessions with clients and project stakeholders, clearly presenting and explaining cost estimates and assumptions.
  • Measure and quantify various types of projects from construction plans and drawings, including preparing detailed schedules of quantities.
