Description

The position involves the review of component specifications whereby schematic symbols and physical PCB footprints can be created for use in new product development, production support and obsolescence. The position reports to the Electronic Packaging & Components Engineering group and supports other functional groups.

Mentor Graphics PADS

IPC-7351

Electronics Certificate or Degree

5+ years experience working with Electronics- database experience over layout preferred

•Create schematic symbols and physical footprints for parts based on vendor datasheets and Triumph standards to be published to the centralized library for use by the design engineers.

• Verify and validate schematic symbols and physical footprints for parts created by others for accuracy and compliance with Triumph standards.
