Job Description

The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the execution of electrical engineering projects. They act as the technical lead, ensuring that all electrical aspects of a project (such as power distribution, lighting, control systems, or electronics integration) are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant Singapore Standards & codes and client specifications. They bridge the gap between the engineering design team, procurement, construction crews, and the client.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, and single-line diagrams using software such as AutoCAD Electrical or Revit.
Perform technical calculations for load flow, short circuit analysis, voltage drop, and lighting levels.
Select appropriate electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, panels, cables, motors, PLCs).
Prepare Material Take-offs (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
