Electrical Engineer

The Senior Project Engineer - Electrical will work with overhead cranes/hoists in the Konecranes Nuclear Equipment and Services (KNES) business, completing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) coupled with final commissioning. This engineer will be able to read/design electrical schematics, use AutoCAD Electrical, perform electrical calculations, program PLCs using ladder logic and design HMI applications (primarily Rockwell and Siemens), perform field startups & testing, work in industrial environments, have detailed knowledge of electric motor controls, utility circuits, safety circuits, and operator controls, as related to overhead cranes and hoists.
