Electrical Design Engineer

Nelson Permanent Placements are working with our client who are recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer. Our client specialises within hard engineering solutions and provides a full range of services in fast–moving, high–pressure manufacturing facilities, process environments and commercial spaces.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high–quality electrical designs for automation and control systems, producing detailed calculations, specifications, and drawings using EPLAN and AutoCAD. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure solutions are technically robust, compliant, and delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical design for automation and control systems.
• Proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar electrical CAD software.
• Strong working knowledge of PLCs (e.g. Siemens, Allen–Bradley), HMIs, SCADA, and motor control systems.
