Electrical Design Engineer

Dowds are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Building Services team in Ballymena. You’ll work across Energy, Healthcare, Higher Education, Commercial and Life Sciences projects, typically valued £5m–£35m.

You’ll lead the development of high‑quality electrical and MEP designs from concept through to handover, collaborating with internal teams, consultants and clients to deliver safe, coordinated and compliant engineering solutions.

Through the Dowds Academy , you’ll benefit from structured professional development, chartership pathways and dedicated weekly learning time. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor and support graduate engineers.
