We are in search of an electrical/controls design engineer to supplement our Client's existing engineers in support of current projects and design of future projects. As a controls engineer, you should have excellent mathematical skills, familiarity with electrical systems, CAD software, and PLC programming experience. Moreover, you should have a keen attention to detail and strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. This job will allow you to expand your knowledge of electrical panel design and controls programming by working with many different PLC, HMI, and VFD manufacturers. Responsibilities: Electrical • Develop electrical schematics in CAD for control panels • Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications • Help establish new standards and maintain existing ones • Check work quality of assemblers and technicians and respond to inquiries as needed • Research and program new VFDs as required per customer...
