West Vancouver is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil‑Waututh Nations. The District of West Vancouver is seeking Presiding Election Officials (PEOs) for the General Local Election on Saturday, October 17, 2026 and for advance voting opportunities on October 7, 10 and 12, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct general voting day operations at the assigned voting place.
• Ensure compliance with election procedures and rules by all election officials and voters.
• Work on an advance voting day or days.
• Conduct a site visit to the assigned voting place before general voting day.
• Pick up equipment and supplies from election headquarters on the day before general voting day.
