Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for providing assistance in implementing programs, activities and policies designed to ensure a safe & healthy environment and for ensuring adherence to company mandated safety & environmental standards set by the local and national government agencies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a duties and responsibilities of the Safety Officer by developing and conducting safety trainings, hazard and risk assessment and accident / incident investigation.
  • Conduct yearly Work Environment Measurement (WEM).
  • Conduct Safety Training to the newly hired employee prior to the start of work.
  • Coordinates with various government, professional and civic agencies and organizations on matters concerning the promotion, maintenance and/or compliance of industrial and environmental safety practice and activities.
