EHS Manager

Reporting to the Senior Director Compliance, the EHS Manager, working with all departments, is responsible for the planning, implementation, and enforcement of DEW Engineering’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures. Without limiting the preceding, this includes:

Responsibilities

• Managing all Environmental Compliance activities as required by Federal, Provincial, and Municipal entities for facilities in Ontario and New Brunswick as well as all Health and Safety activities for our Ontario facility.
• Identifying relevant legislation, ensuring regulatory compliance and making recommendations for improvements to processes.
• Reviewing existing and new equipment/process acquisitions for environmental and Health and safety impacts and providing support to ensure that new hazardous materials are not introduced into our processes or products.
