Overview:
Under the supervision of the Safety and Environment Engineer, performs activities in support of compliance with the legal requirements of the EHS department.
**Responsibilities**:
- Control of hazardous and non-hazardous waste logs
- Printing of safety labels for plant chemicals
- Digitization of EHS System documents
- Support with updating the safety board
- Participation in updating calendars regarding studies required by STPS
- Documenting safety risks, photos, videos
- Control of safety sheets for plant chemicals
- Basic knowledge of identifying environmental aspects and impacts
- Participation in improvement projects
- Support for training operational staff
- Support in implementing NOM-018 STPS
- Other duties asigned
Qualifications:
- Last semesters or recent graduate of Industrial Engineering, Administration, Environmental Engineer or a related field.
- No prior experience required.
