EDUCATIONAL TECHNICIAN (CHILD DEVELOPMENT)

The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the oversight and coordinate specialized developmental care for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age in the child development program. Responsibilities Responsible for technical program oversight of the lower graded assistants, lead program assistants, and technicians providing them mentoring, training and instruction. Provides age appropriate developmental care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Follows the Air Force approved curriculum to support children's development. Ensures a safe, healthy and nurturing environment for all children. Prepares daily activities for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age that supports the inclusion of children with special needs.
