Job Description

We are looking for an individual who will contribute to high standards of learning by supporting teachers, support staff and/or one‑to‑one with a child to support the learning and welfare of the children within school, initially based in Key Stage 2 .

This is a fixed‑term position commencing September 2026 until August 2027.

Role responsibilities

  • Provide practical support for learning and educational activities.
  • Develop children’s social skills.
  • Ensure children’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning.

Key requirements

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Subject to an enhanced DBS check.
  • Convictions may be considered as part of the recruitment process.
