ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW:
The Stakeholder and Community Relations Office develops best-in-class communications, science education, government relations, and community involvement programs that advance the science and science education missions of the Laboratory, contribute to the public understanding of science, enhance the value of the Lab as a community asset and ensure that Laboratory internal and external stakeholders are properly informed and have a voice in Lab decisions of interest and importance to them. 
As part of the Stakeholder and Community Relations Office, the Office of Workforce Development and Science Education (WDSE) mission is to design, develop, implement, and facilitate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) workforce development and education initiatives that support the scientific mission at Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Department of Energy.
