Ecologist

AECOM's Natural Resources team is delivering some of New Zealand's most significant transport, water, ecological restoration and infrastructure projects. We are looking for an Ecologist to join our national Natural Resources/Ecology team in Auckland.

You will work alongside experienced ecologists on a diverse range of freshwater, wetland and terrestrial ecology projects, contributing to meaningful environmental outcomes while developing your technical expertise within a collaborative, high‑performing team.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in ecological consulting who enjoys fieldwork, technical problem solving and working in multidisciplinary teams. You will support the delivery of ecological field programmes, biodiversity assessments and restoration initiatives, and build experience across a broad range of projects.
