Ecologist (Bat Detectors)

Your new role

As a Bat Detector Ecologist, you will support environmentalpliance on a major highway infrastructure project, carrying out bat activity surveys and monitoring to inform ecological mitigation and ensure works remainpliant with relevant legislation.
Key responsibilities include:

Undertaking dusk/dawn bat surveys

Deploying, retrieving and analysing bat detectors

Identifying bat species from acoustic recordings

Assisting with ecological inspections and site monitoring

Producing accurate field notes and survey data

Supporting Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) activities where required.

Liaising with site teams tomunicate ecological constraints

Ensuring all work ispleted in line with health and safety procedures

What you'll need to succeed

Degree in Ecology or related area

CSCS / Highways Passport

Own PPE
