Overview

Main Purpose of the Job

The Program Supervisor is responsible for supporting high-quality early learning and childcare programming across the center. This role provides direct leadership to classroom staff, ensures daily operational stability, and maintains compliance with Alberta’s licensing requirements—including staff attendance, scheduling, and child-to-staff ratios.

The Program Supervisor acts as a bridge between classroom educators and the Director, ensuring that both program quality and operational standards are consistently met.

• Support educators in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
• Ensure all classroom environments follow the center’s philosophy, policies, and Alberta Flightor relevant curriculum guidelines.
